How do I know if Liver Detox is working?

   Posted by: Webmaster   in Detoxification

detox symptoms
Crissy asked:

I am on day three (seven days total) of drinking a Liver Detox Tea, should I have any signs/symptoms that the detox tea is working?
I have had acne prone skin for 15 years and I decided to finally try a more natural approach since nothing else has worked. I am going to do a “Skin Detox Tea” but the naturalist recommended doing a Liver Detox Tea first.

Why do you need to detox your liver? If you have done something to harm it or have hepatitis, the detoxification should be relieving symptoms. You probably should talk to a Doctor before worrying too much about liver detoxification, unless you already have been diagnosed with liver failure or damage.

I’d think that before you took the tea, you had researched it well enough and asked enough questions to know what to expect. Yes, I would think you’d see signs it was working.

I do a liver flush every two weeks and I know exactly what to expect when I do it. If your liver is messed up from all the worthless medicines doctors have pushed on you all your life…and that stay trapped in your body…you should read up on liver/gallbladder flushes. There’s a great book on it by a guy…last name Moritz.

The more I do, the less meds I need…hum…interesting, huh?

I don’t know if detoxing the liver would do anything for acne, have you tried zinc tablets, fish oil tablets or vitamin e tablets?
Also have you been to a skin specialist? I went and they put put me on the strongest medication there is and it worked well, the stuff was called isotane (Isotretinoin) the only thing is that I didn’t take it long enough and my acne came back but while I was on it my skin was perfect.
Though these days I hardly get acne as I take vitamin e and fish oil capsules daily and plus I eat well, lots of fruit and veges. Look at your diet also, maybe you are allergic to something you eat?
I know when I eat junk food my skin breaks out.

Usually one can tell if detoxification is working by marked nausea and a general sense of feeling poorly for 1-3 days followed by feeling WONDERFUL because the liver toxins are out of your body.

Sometimes urine turns darker when you’re eliminating toxins.

If you are not experiencing any toxic symptoms for 1-3 days I’d say it’s not working.

And, as a side note I’ll do a little teaching here: One of the ways naturopathic practicioners can determine if a patient has liver toxicity is by looking at the skin. The condition of the skin (oily, dry, pimply) is directly related to the health of the liver.

Well, starting to clean your liver will help with your skin, proven fact.

Simple signs that a liver is cleansing itself. You will feel tried or feel like a flu bug just hit you. You may have a stuffy nose.

You may pass liver and bladder stones. Most of the time these stones are brite green and will usauly float in the toilet.

Do some reashearch on cleansings with Dr. Stanely Burroughs, Dr. Hilda Clark, or look into the website Curezone. com and look up liver flushes.

If you want to keep a healthy clean liver nothing work better than Lemons and Limes. Make homemade lemon or lime aid with them using filtered water.

Good Luck.
